  11. The reason people use C/C++ is because it allows a grand abstraction of
  12. programming which Pascal, due to its inherent design, will not allow the
  13. programmer to do. Unlike Pascal, C/C++ compilers usually assume a
  14. programmer is intelligent enough to capture most bugs in a program, which
  15. is a good reason for loose syntax. Besides which, if you have so much
  16. trouble with C/C++, is that a failing of the language, or your programming
  17. skills?
